A word from Donna one of the Mums about yesterday's journey .
Today has been fantastic, what a great response we have had. All the mayors have been fantastic, from the Sunderland mayor giving Lewis Kempthorne a ride in his car to get a photo to taking him to school where he was meeting by his teachers and peers, to, The Lord Mayor of York. She was fantastic too, really wanted to know about the condition and she was trying to imagine how she would cope if she had been a mother herself of a child with TS. She was great as she went out of her way to take Sam upstairs in the mansion house where he took him to the roof top and took photos of him from jacs camera! Loved meeting richard tonight.. Had a great catch up and we discussed loads, great guy. Well this morning I've woke up and received a picture from Andrew, with a massive map in the background.. They are pinning it and putting string around of my journey. After meeting everyone yesterday, my hope is getting stronger thinking this could make a massive change. thanks to all who are following us too and giving us kind messages, think one downfall about this is, we can't keep up with our Facebook much love TS family x

What a cool blog and great you are creating awareness, I am the mum of an 8 year old boy with Tourettes and we live in New Zealand, I am originally British and over there living for a few months in near Bridlington, but origninally from West Yorkshire. There is little known in this country at the moment too and we are trying to make people more aware. Keep up the good work, Nicky
