Donna's words about day two of the Tourettes Awareness Challenge

Yesterday’s part of the tour took the Tourettes challenge girls Eileen, Jac, Donna and Lizzy to Hull then on to Lincoln , Peterborough down to Cambridge and finishing at Ely and then drive on to Norwich to the hotel .
We had the privilege of meeting the following people on the day’s journey first was the Lord Mayor of Hull Nadine Fudge . Then Deputy Lord Mayor of Lincoln Councillor Yvonne Bodger with her consort in guildhall. And at the city of Peterborough Jana burton head of adult services and her senior Management team in the city hall. At Cambridge we were met the mayor Paul Saunders at meadows community centre. To end the day of warm welcomes we were greeted Mayor of Ely Elaine Griffin-Singh in front of the Ely cathedral.
Last night we arrived at Norwich and met up with Gemma, mark and Dave. We sat and talked for a bit then jac and Eileen retired to the bedrooms, then we went out and hit town. We were amazed at how many 18-30 year olds wanted to talk to us and when we asked what their first thought was when they hear TS? Their reply was tics!!! We were very surprised well here's to another day. As Tourette's Hero says "changing the world 1 tic at a time" for us on the road it's 1 city at a time much love Donna, Liz, Jac and Eileen xxx
